We Assess the Problem
We inspect the damage, identify what caused it, and plan the fix. No shortcuts—just a clear path to doing it right.

Brick damage doesn't fix itself. Spot these warning signs early to avoid expensive repairs later.
Classic sign of lintel failure—the steel beam has corroded and expanded, forcing brick apart. Cracks angle upward from corners as the lintel loses structural capacity and can no longer support weight above.
Visible rust bleeding through mortar joints means the steel lintel is corroding. Rust occupies six times the volume of steel, cracking surrounding materials and accelerating deterioration rapidly.
Sills should slope away from windows to shed water. Flat or reverse-sloped sills cause water intrusion, leading to interior damage, mold risk, and rotting wood frames that worsen over time.

Lintels are steel or concrete beams above windows and doors that support the brick above. Sills are the horizontal surfaces at window bases that shed water away from the building.
Both components are critical for building integrity and water management. Lintels carry the full weight of brick above openings—when they fail, cracks appear and structural damage follows. Sills direct water away—when they fail, water enters walls and causes damage.
Visible cracking
Diagonal cracks from window corners indicate lintel failure.
Water intrusion
Water entering around windows suggests sill failure.
Rust staining
Rust bleeding through masonry means corroding steel.
Different brick problems call for different repairs. We look at the damage and recommend the lightest fix that actually solves it—nothing more, nothing less.
Remove failed steel lintels, install new galvanized or stainless steel with proper bearing. Includes rebuilding disturbed brickwork.
Upgrade brick rowlock sills to one-piece limestone. Better water shedding, longer life, cleaner appearance.
Cost-effective alternative to limestone. Durable precast concrete sills with proper slope and drip edge.
Comprehensive repair of damaged openings—lintels, sills, surrounding brick, and flashing as needed.

We provide detailed quotes—here are the main factors
Per-opening cost decreases with multiple units. Mobilization is spread across more work.
Larger openings require longer lintels and more brick work to disturb and rebuild.
Standard galvanized lintels are economical. Stainless steel or limestone sills cost more.
Ground-level openings are straightforward. Upper floors may require scaffolding.
If adjacent brick is damaged, scope expands. We quote what we find during assessment.
