A Vaughan homeowner needed brick work—deteriorating bricks and efflorescence showed where moisture had been getting in.
Scaffolding and bracing went up to reach the work area safely. The team replaced the damaged bricks, addressing the sections where the masonry had deteriorated. Efflorescence—those white salt deposits that show up when water moves through brick—was cleaned off using power washing. Fresh caulking sealed gaps where water had been entering.
The brickwork is now solid and clean. The homeowner has masonry that’s weathertight and ready for Ontario winters.
